Intermediate Accounting Clerk (Thornhill Toyota)

Thornhill Toyota, a division of Weins Canada Inc is currently seeking a full-time Intermediate Accounting Clerk to join our growing team.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible to execute the day-to-day accounting activities for Thornhill Toyota. Key Responsibilities:

• Full cycle processing of dealership transactions including but not limited to: posting deals, service invoices, assisting with payables and receivables as required, etc.
• Verify commission calculations and reconcile financial vendors.
• Prepare daily deposits.
• Prepare and remit payments for extended warranties, insurance, etc.
• Post manufacturer vehicle invoices and dealer trade invoices.
• Following up on outstanding invoices based on statements.
• Assisting with other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.
• Other duties, projects, etc. as requested by management.

Qualifications:

• University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting
• Minimum of 3-5 years of dealership accounting experience is an asset 
• Experience working with the PBS Dealership Management System is an asset
• Experience with general and deals accounting required. 
• Computer proficiency – Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
