Rust Proofer (Gormley Automotive Centre)

Responsibilities:

• Sets-up and operates machines to paint or coat products with such materials as silver and copper solution, rubber, paint, glaze, oil, or rust proofing materials.
• Removes materials, parts, or workpieces from painting or coating machines, using hand tools.
• Records operational data on specified forms.
• Cleans and maintains coating and painting machines, using hand tools.
• Measures thickness and quality of coating, using a micrometer.
• Examines and tests solutions, paints, products, and workpieces to ensure specifications are met.
• Observes and adjusts loaded workpiece or machine, according to specifications.
• Selects and loads materials, parts, and workpieces on the machine, using hand tools.
• Follow all safety procedures established.
• Other duties, projects, etc. as requested by management.

Qualifications

• A valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License
• Attention to detail with exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• A willingness to comply with company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
