Responsibilities 

  • Preparing appointment schedules, along with ensuring daily call targets are met
  • Executing monthly specials using service database as directed by management
  • Handle all incoming customer appointment inquiries quickly and accurately via telephone and email
  • Electronically generate and maintain the schedule service appointments while distributing work evenly for service advisors on a daily basis.
  • Follow up on calls such as schedule customers and no-show appointments, perform customer satisfaction phone calls.
  • Respond to customer concerns and requests received through the Dealer Voice System Create, analyze reports and monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure BDC effectiveness and efficiency
  • Identify process improvement opportunities for the team and still maintain an exceptional level of service to the customer.
  • Make recommendations to optimize customer communication processes and improve service retention
  • Perform any other tasks as directed by management

Qualifications

  • Prior Business Development Centre Supervisor experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of automotive experience an asset
  • Customer service experience considered an asset
  • Ability to respond to customers with courtesy, knowledge, personality and speed
  • Exceptional telephone manner, proficient grammar and spelling, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task and be consistent
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills
  • A valid driver’s license required
